How KYBELLA™ works
Kybella is a synthetic form of deoxycholic acid, which is a naturally occurring molecule in our bodies that helps break down and absorb unwanted fat cells. The FDA recently approved this injectable as a non-surgical solution for moderate to severe fat in double chins.
The KYBELLA™ Procedure
During consultation at MD Skin – The Lounge in Scottsdale, we will assess your skin and fat to determine the necessary treatment process for your chin. Depending on the amount of fat that needs to be eliminated, treatment time varies from patient to patient.
Generally patients receive a series of injections during one visit, but 2 to 3 visits spaced one month apart may be needed for optimal results. Each visit time is around 15 minutes.
